With the majority due to retire in the next 15 years, plus fewer college grads entering the field, the few people who understand the tax codes are getting fewer.
To attract new accountants, I helped PA’s accounting .org rally support for a bill that streamlines CPA certification. Despite a modest budget that limited us to stock footage, we found an unexpected way to talk about accountants that got the bill passed—unanimously.
